Let me Update you guys...

    Hey guys, it's me again. 

    Unfortunately, my group has not begun the filming process of our music video. The same issue stands that our group members either don't have time yet or are completely unable to film like  Valentina who is still hospitalized. So... we have had a rough start so far. Despite this, I am still doing my part in ensuring our success. So, what exactly does that entail? So far I have watched 6 pop-rock genre music videos in total and taken notes on what elements of the film I have seen in each. I have also identified emotions that each music video makes the audience feel. This is all part of my process of music video research. The music videos I have watched are This Love, Deja Vu, Mine, Better Than Revenge, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and Good 4 U! The artists who sang these songs are Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and Olivia Rodrigo. The information I gathered will help me to play my part in emulating similar aspects of other successful videos in our own video!

    Now, about our props. I have communicated with my group that we should buy a bouquet of flowers with red roses in it for our video. I think that the red will symbolize intensity and passion. The last scene is planned to be where we find out Parker has been "playing" the three of us and lying all along. We will then push him into the pool because of our anger towards him. Because of the contents of this last scene, the feelings of intensity and passion are what we will be trying to express making it perfect that this is where the flowers will be. I think it will add a nice touch. Below is the message my partners received from me!

Pitch 1: A mafia boss goes undercover as an ally to avenge the death of her brother. This pitch spoke to my group as we found it to be a serious topic that seemed interesting enough to stay engaged throughout the filming process. Reflection

     Hey guys!! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reflecting on the process of my commercial. This is important to do in order to see where I can improve next time and look back on what I have learned.      Speaking of learning, throughout this process I found that I learned a lot about editing while making my commercial. Before this, I had never used the app Cap Cut. Editing has always been a foreign thing to me but an interesting thing none the less so I am glad I got the chance to learn how to do it! First, I had to learn how to navigate the app Cap Cut. I was not sure where everything was at first, but my friend who is skilled in creating films helped me find everything I needed.
