Filming Blog: Going deeper

 Hi guys! It's nice to talk again and be able to update you on our progress. 

    If you don't remember, our last filming day got cut short so we didn't get very much done. But all is well because on February 10th our group continued the filming process!  Once again, we are "behind schedule" but no one's perfect, and sometimes life gets in the way! On the 10th, me and Charlize got dropped off at Valentina's house and we got started. 

    First, I acted out and was filmed doing the rest of Madeline's morning routine of getting out of bed, brushing my teeth, opening the blinds, and more. These beginning scenes felt very easy to film and it was rather relaxing for me! Then we moved on to filming me in the kitchen getting my coffee ready and preparing to take my dog out on a stroll.  

    As a group, Charlize, Valentina, and I walked to a park near her home and began shooting me interacting with the dog. As they filmed I walked him, ran with him, and watched him run. Now, here's when things went astray. My groupmates believe we were a tad rushed with the filming and we need more time to brainstorm how we want the scenes to look. So? We are refilming them, fortunately, I had fun so it's fine by me!

    Another bump along the road was that we couldn't find a family willing to be featured in our film for one of our scenes where Katrina comments on them. We plan on trying again on our next film date or simply editing that part out and modifying it!

    Well, guys, I had a blast with filming and I always enjoy updating you all. We'll talk again soon...

This pitch spoke to my group as we found it to be a serious topic that seemed interesting enough to stay engaged throughout the filming process. Reflection

     Hey guys!! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reflecting on the process of my commercial. This is important to do in order to see where I can improve next time and look back on what I have learned.      Speaking of learning, throughout this process I found that I learned a lot about editing while making my commercial. Before this, I had never used the app Cap Cut. Editing has always been a foreign thing to me but an interesting thing none the less so I am glad I got the chance to learn how to do it! First, I had to learn how to navigate the app Cap Cut. I was not sure where everything was at first, but my friend who is skilled in creating films helped me find everything I needed.
