Let’s get some feedback!

Hey guys! We finally finished filming and editing and we sent or video to a few friends for some advice on what to switch up if needed. Thankfully, they offered a lot of really good advice, and we agree with a lot of it. This is what they said.

So, our first helpful friend who responded was Ludgi. She said that she was fond of our idea and video mostly but that we could improve on some things for sure. This was understandable. Mainly, she said we could work in the editing section. She mentioned how our voice-over sounded a little too crisp and that the voice did not fit in with the video's vibe. She also said some of our acting was a tad awkward.

Then, Enzo, our other friend, gave us feedback. He said he liked it, but like Ludji, he thought the voiceover didn’t match the energy of the video. He also said that our script sounded a bit unfinished/rushed.

Alyssa, the last girl we sent it to gave us different words of wisdom. Since we were already criticized on the voiceover quite a lot, we asked her not to mention it because we were already going to re-tape it. Rather than the voice-over, she told us about how the flow of the scenes was off and kinda rocky. The flow meaning, the transitions in editing so we changed that up.

After all of this criticism, we also got a lot of nice comments about our video, and other friends telling us how much they liked it. Despite us taking feedback well, it was really rewarding to hear how much they enjoyed it.

Charlize and I are going to Valentina’s house tomorrow to re-edit some scenes as well as refill a couple as well. I’m super happy we have honest friends who weren’t shy to tell us what we could do to make our project the best it could be!
